The Metron
The Metron is an assessment of the pain and struggle a person is carrying. It does not hand them a label. It places them on the pathway, shows them a person in Scripture who stood in the same place, and points to what comes next.
Seven places
The Metron finds which of these seven is true right now.
Order held. A person resting in God, with nothing left to defend.
Under real weight and still steady. The pressure is there, and it does not rule them.
Carrying more than was given to them, and starting to feel the weight.
Protecting themselves. Closer to people on the surface than underneath.
Pain now drives the response. Words and choices come out sharper than intended.
The load is past what they can hold. Coping gives way.
Withdrawn, numb and far away, even from the people and the God they love.
How it shows up
The Metron also reads how the struggle is expressed, because that decides what will actually help.
What a person receives
Not a score to carry around. A way forward.
Where you stand today, in plain words, and what that place feels like from the inside.
One figure from Scripture who stood where you stand, with the road they walked from there.
Practices and studies drawn from that figure, so the pathway has a first step and not only a name.
The Metron is a guide to where a person is. It is not a diagnosis or a clinical measure. Anyone in crisis is pointed to help first.
The public assessment is being prepared. When it opens, it will be here.
